Featured in the NWA Parade of Homes! A Custom New Build in Downtown Bentonville
We had the absolute pleasure of working with a fantastic client in downtown Bentonville, AR. We were enthralled to be able to be a part of this build from the beginning—helping to select exterior finishes and colors, moving inside to flooring, paint, countertops, light fixtures and more, and finishing with some furniture pieces and accessories! A total package, beautifully wrapped up by our client’s exquisite style and taste for one of the prettiest homes we’ve ever been able to design. The cherry on top—we were able to be featured in the 2024 NWA Home Builders Association, Parade of Homes.

We were also super fortunate to partner with one of the best custom builder crews around—Calcon Inc. We loved working with Drew and highly recommend him! He is one talented dude (with a talented crew) and we really enjoyed getting to visit with him as he hosted this beauty in the NWA Parade of Homes in August.
Autumn Rose had the awesome opportunity to get involved with this custom new-build from the planning stages! We got to help with color & finish selections for the exterior of the home, as well as work directly with the architect plans to start designing the layout of the furniture, select all of the custom finishes, and plan for lighting, accessories and artwork. Our team worked to create a high-end design for clients that had a love of luxury. Our clients also loved stunning finishes like gold, black, and wood, and we created a beautiful color palette with these bold neutrals, playing off the client’s love for modern luxury with transitional elements. This was truly a dream come true from a design perspective, being able to watch the clients get their dream home! They even worked with their contractor & build-team to create a backyard oasis, complete with a pool/hot tub, golf simulator, and small apartment over their garage.
Now that we’ve shown you the outside…let’s take a look at the GORGEOUS inside!
These clients were great! They were very trusting in our design—making some bold & beautiful moves with their choices. The downstairs included a sleek office, an open concept living room, kitchen, and dining area, a custom walk-in pantry/doggie area, and an adorable guest’s bathroom. The fire place tile was a showstopper. They chose light and airy wood tones, black flat cabinets, modern furniture and gorgeous light fixtures. We love all of the gold touches in their lighting! It was a dream to pick out those awesome light fixtures and see them hung proudly in this home!
Check out this sleeek use of the under-the-stairs space with a custom wine cabinet, next to the dining area! We thought it deserved its own post!
This ‘Parade’ home was (rightfully) a hit with all of the parade attendees! As visitors made their way upstairs to the bedrooms (including a beautiful primary with a HUGE bathroom) they were met with a private balcony, a large shower, and even a tucked away laundry room. The color of those laundry room cabinets is so yummy!
We definitely saved the best for last. Our clients had a goal of having (the swankiest) entertainment space on their third floor. It has a couple of stunning accent walls, accent lighting, a wet bar/kitchenette for hosting a snack spread, and an upper deck that overlooks downtown Bentonville. It is like a nice little surprise— and the #1 thing mentioned by the NWA Parade of Homes attendees, that visited this custom home. With breathtaking views and a cozy space to gather and watch your favorite movie, how can you not agree? The neon sign sure does resonate with us as the “Happy Place”!
What an honor it was for this home to be featured in the NWA Parade of Homes. We loved sharing the hosting-space with the builders, Calcon Inc., and are grateful to have clients with such a cool sense of taste! We hope to continue to help people in the downtown Bentonville area create beautiful spaces and we will look back at these photos for years to come.
