An amazing Airbnb transformation!

One of our newly completed projects is a CHARMING Airbnb tucked into the bike trails of NWA.

We asked our NWA designer Alexis, to share some details about her work on this special project. Alexis lead this project and she did a phenomenal job. Check out her interview, while we show you some amazing photos of this total-house-renovation.

What inspired the style of this project?

“The idea behind the initial design concept for this project was to use the location and amenities around it to bring something different to the Air BNB market. The goal was to "Bring the Outside In" as Arkansas is the Natural State and this project was directed to people traveling here. I wanted to bring an Air BNB dedicated to showing off Arkansas as its beautiful self in the green and natural tones throughout the house, and in the open concept floor plan of the house that has a view of nature from all the rooms. It was also directly marketed as a convenient bicyclist accompanied house with all of the details in the garage and with the location of a well-known bike trail just steps down the road from the house.”

The outdoor spaces were transformed into a serene, nature, sanctuary.

Did the client have any special requests?

“Special requests from the client were: to make sure the floor plan was accurately utilized to benefit the guests, to make it a high-end hotel style Air BNB to target specific markets with the accommodations and selections, and to bring special features to this Air BNB that would stand out amongst the others in the area.” (We think Alexis did a great job meeting this client’s requests!)

This kitchen and dining transformation is mind-blowing! The before picture, (top) was in need of a brand-new look and functionality. The after, (bottom) doesn’t even feel like the same space! WOW. Great job Alexis! We would love to ponder over a cup of coffee and a good book here.

We love this modern and eclectic bedroom! We heard the beds are super comfy.

What challenges did you have to overcome?

“I think the overall challenge would be the timeline. I had a great benefit of being able to work on this house at any time and scheduling people out whenever because this house wasn't a personal home. With the timeline being stretched thin with shipping and materials (lots of waiting time for custom furniture!)---we wanted to finish this as soon as possible for guests to stay over the holidays.”

Do you have a favorite room?

“I am not sure I have a favorite - I love it all. I think if I had to pick it would be the master bedroom with the private balcony or the sunroom with the hanging bed!”

We have really enjoyed this transformation. From the custom bunk beds, to that gorgeous custom swing, and the beautifully transformed kitchen, we know this Airbnb will be the cozy place to be for guests visiting from out of town!
