You may have just been introduced to me. Or you may know me as the founder of Autumn Rose Interiors, an award winning design firm located in Northwest Arkansas. I have been inspired since a very young age, by beauty, and also by the power of our senses and our physical environments to influence how we feel within ourselves, in our relationships, and in the world.
Even at a very young age, I took every opportunity I could to use lighting, table settings, landscaping, pillow arranging, and anything else around the house I could get my hands on, to influence the atmosphere so that my family would feel loved. Anytime my dad was tackling a home improvement project or my mom was painting the walls in the house, I was glued to their sides not wanting to miss a moment! Learning everything I could from them.
Fast forward to college, and I was studying interior design, but also creating a vision for a business I would someday build. I wrote papers about the influence I wanted to have on the way we design and think about spaces, homes, neighborhoods, and cities. What we can learn from Italian city design, how family life and our relationships with other humans have evolved throughout history, etc. I fell in love with various styles of architecture, and with the great thinkers throughout time, including recent innovators in architecture and design. I minored in Italian and loved exploring how people from many cultures lived and how their homes and cities felt. My husband and I even lived for a semester in Italy.
In 2017 we moved to Bentonville, Arkansas and I founded my design firm, Autumn Rose Interiors. I now have a fantastic team and have served hundreds of clients. Last year we were recognized with the “Very Best in NWA 2021” award. Our design projects have included hotels, custom spec homes, lake houses, cabins, massive remodels, offices, and even a 2-story high rise loft in China. I have judged parade of homes contests in multiple cities. And now I am making my proven methods available to you through this masterclass, the book I will be publishing early next year, retreats in Italy, and much more to come. I hope you’ll be a part of it with me!
